I’ve been wanting to get this wedding posted for weeks now and I know Emily is eagerly awaiting my blog update…so here we go!
Emily contacted me at this time last year in search of a wedding photographer. After chatting and booking me she came up with a great idea…instead of an engagement session she wanted a full family session as a gift to her mom, Judy. So not only would Emily and Adam get a few pre-wedding images but I would meet the entire family including the pets. Brilliant! When their big day arrived it was comforting to know that we had already established a relationship.
October weddings can be beautiful…but the weather is always a gamble. While nothing can be done to change the forecast, that doesn’t stop me from checking the weather every hour. Emily was prepared for rain. And she was also determined to have an outdoor ceremony. Mother Nature must have taken pity on us because by the time we arrived at Century Wedding and Events the skies had cleared. By the time we arrived at Watson’s Mill in Manotick for more formal photos the sun was out in full force. And it was gorgeous!
The ceremony was held at a beautiful venue, made even more special by the laughter that accompanied the celebration from start to finish. Emily and Adam obviously adore each other. Better yet they have fun together. What a wonderful combination! Thank you for choosing me to spend the day with you and your loved ones. Wishing you many years of happiness!
