Here are a few more from Chiyo and Darren’s wedding this past weekend. It just so happened that it was also the first weekend of the Ottawa Tulip Festival. And lucky for us the flowers were in full bloom and the weather was lovely…what more could we ask for?!

This is just a sneak peak from Chiyo and Darren’s wedding yesterday afternoon. We lucked out with the weather and locations…all gorgeous! This one was shot at The Experimental Farm (Ornamental Gardens). A lovely couple to photograph…congratulations you two!

This is my third time photographing Kristen, Ryan and their beautiful family. I was so excited to meet their latest addition…she was only 11 days old! And as if that wasn’t enough, Kristen’s entire family were visiting too! It was a laid-back, go-with-the-flow session (a necessity with 3 little ones under 18 months!) but I think the images turned out great. Here is a sneak peak…something for Grandma and Grandpa to look at when they return home this week.

Here are a few more from yesterday’s session. Big sister was very serious to start with…but warmed up once she realized that she could view the photos almost immediately after taking them. After all, what 3 year old doesn’t like having their photo taken?!

I was so excited to meet Marie-Philippe’s newest bundle of joy! We met in her home for a little introduction and a few big sister-little sister shots…and the whole family ended up getting in on the action! Baby “A” slept through the entire session, completely oblivious to her active 3 year old sister! Both girls are stunning, and if they are anything like Mommy they will be beautiful inside & out.

I have known Jenn forever it seems. But life - as it has a habit of doing – gets in the way and suddenly we haven’t seen each other for years! So I was honoured to be asked to take their family photos and meet their latest addition. Baby S was adorable and his big sister was an awesome helper during the photo shoot. The photos turned out great…these are just a few for now…

FAMILY MORNINGS ~ PUPPY LOVE, PART 2

So my post the other day got me thinking that I really don’t take enough photos of the puppy and the kids. I’m not sure why not…they are always after her to play chase or wanting to feed her a treat. And normally she couldn’t care less! This morning was no exception…as you can see from her expression, she was only putting up with the kids (and me!) in the hopes that it would lead to playtime outdoors!

Lately I have been thinking back, oh 4 years or so…to when our house was much less chaotic and we only had a puppy to worry about! Where does the time go? Whenever I need a subject to photograph, my Jersey-girl is always nearby. Sometimes it takes a little more cajoling…and a few more treats…but the outcome is always worth it!
