How do you kick off the August long weekend in style? By having a Thursday afternoon wedding at the most gorgeous venue possible! For those of you who haven’t been to le Belvedere or seen images, please go check it out! Every little nook and cranny of this venue gave wonderful options for photos.
I arrived at the guest house to take some photos of Amanda and Juliana before the ceremony. The house is tucked away, out of sight and we had some beautiful areas to use without risk of being seen by guests as they arrived.
The ceremony overlooked the beautiful hills and was performed by two family members – one from Amanda’s side of the family, one from Juliana’s. The cocktail hour also took place outdoors and the brides were able to mingle with guests and enjoy the view. The guests were a lively bunch and cocktails culminated in an impromptu Colombian dance party before everyone was ushered inside for dinner.
When Amanda and Juliana first contacted me they told me two important details: they had guests coming from far away and it was important to capture images with them. And secondly, the gorgeous backdrop of le Belvedere was important to them. I think we ended up with a wonderful mix of everything!
